Supported learning services moderator
If you would like to make a difference to education on a national level, we are looking for moderators for supported learning.
This is an exciting and career enhancing opportunity for teachers to further develop their professional understanding of moderation and gain valuable professional development to enhance their teaching and learning for their students.
As a moderator you will have the chance to work with other subject experts to ensure fair, valid and consistent assessment against the standards. You must understand the principles of standards based assessment and have knowledge of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework and the National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA).
You must have a current or very recent recognised teaching and assessment expertise in NCEA Levels 1-3 in supported learning. Preference will be given to applicants with proven regional or national involvement. Experience in facilitating workshops is desirable.
