Teacher part-time - 0.4125 FTE, 17 hours per week. 

Are you passionate about developing meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau, by respecting aspirations for their tamaiti and dedicated in making a difference in our local community? The ability to establish and foster genuine and meaningful relationships with local hapū and iwi and confidence and wish to further learning in the use of te reo and tikanga Māori is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team to develop and grow the service with new ideas, share your passion, expertise and strengths to enrich learning. Creating an environment where learners can be confident in their language, culture and identity is highly valued in this kindergarten. The aim is that tamariki gain a sense of turangawaewae in this place.

  • Hours of employment:
    • Monday (12pm–1.30pm)
    • Tuesday (12pm–4.30pm)
    • Wednesday (12pm–4.30pm)
    • Thursday (12pm–4pm)
    • Friday (12pm–2.30pm)
