We are a coeducational school in the heart of Christchurch that encourages and celebrates our multicultural diversity with 1100 students representing over 70 ethnicities and a Māori population of about 15%.

We are seeking a passionate qualified teacher of te reo me ngā tikanga to join our dynamic language team. As the successful applicant, you will have the skills and knowledge to engage our students from Y9 through to Y13, and to support them in their learning of te reo Māori and the tikanga of Te Ao Māori. You will be registered in New Zealand and able to teach NCEA standards from Level 1 to 3. 

You will work with a team of experienced language teachers, the Kaupapa Māori committee and our Māori senior student group, Mana Toroa, to support our Māori students to succeed as Māori throughout the school. Due to an increasing number of students learning te reo Māori, a team teaching opportunity is available.
