We are seeking an innovative, passionate teacher, with a growth mindframe, who will thrive working in a collaborative learning environment. This teacher will be focused on developing learner agency and will be committed to being part of a collaborative team environment.

We will be looking for sound literacy, mathematical and inquiry skills as well as a desire to make a difference in a child’s learning. An ability to foster positive relationships with our tamariki, whānau and colleagues is essential.

As a competent and effective teacher you will:

  • Be driven to enhance wellbeing within our team.
  • Be an outstanding practitioner with strong, current pedagogical, curriculum and assessment knowledge, particularly in literacy and mathematics.
  • Have proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all members of a school team. 
  • Promote and embrace innovative and inclusive Learning Space practices, support student behaviour in positive, restorative and purposeful ways.
  • Have knowledge of and commitment to the principles of collaborative and innovative teaching and learning practices.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative skills and exceptional communication abilities to maintain appropriate networks at all levels.
