This role can be based in Christchurch, Dunedin or Nelson.

We are looking for a creative, innovative kaiako matua (senior teacher) who’s a subject expert in biology to join one of our southern teaching teams.

It is essential that you have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements and are willing to learn, innovate, work collaboratively and build effective relationships. There will be opportunities to engage with students through our regional advisories and event days.

A full induction and support programme is available along with opportunities to engage with curriculum leaders and subject senior teachers located across regions.

You’ll be future-oriented and understand how the use of technology, together with your enthusiasm, vision and commitment improves education outcomes for all our students, Māori and Pacific learners in particular.
