Qualified preschool or toddlers teacher

At our centre, we aspire to be passionate and professional advocates for children. We value our teachers, providing rich planning and collaborative development, supported by our dedicated leadership and pedagogical teams.

In our Remuera centre, we are looking for qualified teachers for our toddler and preschool rooms. We can offer full-time, flexible or part-time hours, such as a 4-day week or a 9am–3pm shift, if required.

We have teacher:child ratios of 1:3 for infants, 1:4 for toddlers and 1:6-1:7 for preschool. Within our richly resourced environments, we are able to support children's learning in many different ways.

We provide 3 hours of collaborative programme planning time every week, to allow our teaching teams to reflect, plan and support each other as a team. This is done during work hours, to allow your personal time to remain your own.

We are committed to providing inspiring professional development, including paid in-service sessions held every 2 months, where all of Bear Park comes together to connect and enrich our practice. We also offer external workshops and conferences, and invitations to a one-week programme held in Reggio Emilia in Italy.
