We are an early learning centre for children aged 0–5 years based in Dunedin and due to increased demand we have a new opportunity for an experienced teacher.

We are currently looking for a mature, kind, nurturing, passionate and inspiring teacher for our U2 age group. This individual would be excited about the prospect of being part of our progressive centre and would be able to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

We have low ratios, excellent professional development opportunities, a generous resources budget and a supportive management team consisting of an operations manager, education manager and HR manager. All of our teachers receive an iPad, a minimum of 3 hours non-contact per week and competitive remuneration.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education through a progressive approach to early learning. We consistently commit to providing inspiring experiences for the children in our care and implement a collaborative approach to achieve positive outcomes for our children, families and staff.

Our curriculum is delivered to suit the needs and interests of our children and includes a combination of play-based, skills-based and intentional teaching experiences. The majority of our U2s programme is centred around play-based experiences and provocations, whereas the programme for our older children starts combining some Montessori approaches and intentional 'topics', including a transition-to-school programme.

We believe that positive leadership ensures our staff feel valued and are willing to commit to a shared vision. We are committed to creating an environment where there is a high degree of trust, mutual respect and ongoing support.
