The BOT are looking for someone to continue the relational, team building capabilities of our previous deputy principal and to add to our exisiting exceptional leadership team. The leadership team and staff are motivated and have achieved a lot in the last few years.
Our school requires a deputy principal who can contribute to our school’s clear vision for the future development of teaching and learning in the school based on current educational thinking.
The position of deputy principal requires a highly relational leader who connects with staff, parents, our learners and the wider community. There is a strong ethic of care required in this position as wellness of students and staff is a priority. They should also be energetic, knowledgeable and have a good sense of humour.
The successful applicant is likely to have a teaching component and possibly carry out the role of school SENCO.
Once the successful applicant has been appointed a full job description will be negotiated.
