We are a coeducational school, established in 1883, with a roll of approximately 1,700 students. Cambridge is in the heart of the Waikato region and has recently become a focus for elite sport and cycling, triathlon, kayaking and rowing establishing their New Zealand bases here. We serve the interests of the community incredibly well, meeting the academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of a range of students. Places at our school are highly sought-after with families choosing to move into town to gain access to the school.

We seek an innovative, energetic and relationship-focused health and physical education teacher to join our faculty from the beginning of term 2 or as near as possible.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the full range of the health and  PE curriculum and the ability to teach a supporting subject, ideally food technology. The applicant will demonstrate familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum, NCEA and the skills to use ICT to enhance outcomes.

We have a new house system for 2020 and as such, experience and enthusiasm for leading house events would be an advantage.
