BLENNZ Homai School is looking for a dynamic and innovative teacher with current teacher registration and up-to-date knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, with particular strengths in literacy at all levels. This teacher will support the education of ākonga who are blind, deaf blind or have low vision and who may also have additional needs. The successful applicant may work across all areas of the school. Internal and external opportunities for training in the education of learners who are blind/deaf blind, with low vision and/or additional needs will be provided. 

The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills, be a competent user of technology and demonstrate an ability to develop excellent working relationships with parents, family/whānau and educators. Working successfully as part of a team is a key component of this position. Experience in vision education is desirable.
