We need a dedicated Christian teacher to teach Y9–11 boys in our registered private school. The applicant must have qualifications and/or industry experience above the standard of the courses they are required to assess, as well as hold Unit Standard 4098, and be experienced in designing and assessing against unit standards. The position includes teaching, assessment and moderation of the agriculture and dairying programmes up to and including NCEA Level 3.
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching high school boys within the school’s agriculture programme as they run the school’s dairy herd. The applicant must have the ability to interact with young people in a positive manner and have a thorough practical understanding of the New Testament and its applications in daily life. Suitable applicants must also model the values of the New Testament, be willing to live at Gloriavale Christian Community and participate in community life.
