Situated in the beautiful coastal location and outdoor mecca of Pōrangahau, our school (established in 1867) offers a teacher an opportunity to be part of our dynamic teaching and support team.
We are looking for a permanent 0.7 principal release teacher.
Are you a solution-focused practitioner who values building positive relationships and whānau connections? We are looking for a teacher who understands the needs of our children and can work positively with others. A speaker of te reo Māori would be an advantage.
We are a supportive community represented by a passionate Board. Our community stands proud and has helped the school to achieve recent upgrades to our school pool, adventure playground, shade sails and teaching assistants.
The mecca of Pōrangahau includes: strong local Māoritanga, an arts club – painting, fibre, upholstery, flora and fauna and more, and various sports and recreational activities – bowls, golf, tennis, netball, rugby, hunting, dog trials, kayaking, hiking, horse trekking and fishing.
Options for accommodation are available.
Start date term 2, Tuesday 28 April.
