We are seeking a qualified and experienced practitioner to work with our Y12–13 students who are studying Gateway programmes in 2020. This is a teaching role but knowledge of employment requirements such as workplace health and safety, recruitment and employer expectations would be an advantage for both this aspect of the position and oversight of our careers programme. There will also be a second teaching component in social sciences which is likely to be in the junior area of the school. Flexibility and responsiveness along with excellent organisational skills are key dispositions for this role as it involves individualised learning planning.
We are a small very high-performing rural Y7–15 school which demands success for each of our students in myriad ways and enjoys a very dedicated staff and Board of Trustees who work extremely hard to make this happen. We are a PB4L school with high expectations for respectful, responsible and inclusive behaviour and we are very well supported in this by our whole community.
