We have an exciting opportunity for a kaiako to join our team.
About us:
Our centre is operated by Central Kids Early Education, who manage 55 other kindergartens and early learning centres throughout the central North Island.
They provide access to high-quality professional development opportunities and ongoing professional support to maintain quality teaching practice.
At our centre, we cater for children 0–6 years-old and operate an U2s and O2s area.
The 4 guiding principles of our philosophy include:
Aroha – love and compassion Manaaki – nurturing and support Whakakoha – respectful and giving Whanaungatanga – relatedness and connection.
Children and their families benefit from ‘touchstone’ teaching staff who provide consistent caregiving for children, enhancing their learning environment and resulting in children who demonstrate a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing.
Teachers individualise centre routines to respond personally to each child on the basis of information shared with parents. Transitions into the older children’s area are well-planned in partnership with whānau.
Tamariki are involved in planning excursions that follow their interests and enable them to explore the many natural gifts our local environment has to offer.
