We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate kaiako to join our team.
About us:
We are part of Central Kids Early Education who operate 55 other kindergartens and centres across the central North Island.
We provide access to high-quality professional development opportunities and ongoing professional support to maintain quality teaching practice.
We are party to the Kindergarten Teachers' Collective Agreement which provides 6 weeks' annual leave, 9 days' sick leave and ample non-contact/professional time.
Our centre offers a rich learning environment, both inside and outside – with mature trees and a playground to complement nature, which welcomes, challenges, captivates, informs, comforts and inspires children and adults alike.
The teaching team is committed to Te Whāriki and Te Whatu Pōkeka, and undertakes regular professional learning to ensure our teaching philosophy – Whakaaro Nui–theory and practice is current and reflective supporting a willing, ready and able learning attitude and atmosphere.
Our dedication to bicultural practice ensures that each child, whānau, and teaching team has a place to stand – a place to belong in, therefore:
