We are the perfect setting for enquiring young minds and passionate teachers. We have two centres, one nestled in suburban Onehunga and the second tucked in beside Mangere Bridge village, both oozing with personality and charm. Our environments encapsulate a home like setting for our children and families, promoting a seamless indoor outdoor flow into a backyard of exciting opportunities for our young children to explore. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our tamariki, their whānau and our wider community.

Our Mangere Bridge centre is looking for an enthusiastic qualified teacher to join our toddlers teaching team. We are a happy team where teachers are genuinely respected and appreciated, with many long-serving teachers at our centre. We value collaboration and are looking for a dedicated teacher who shares our passion to authentically support children's love for learning. We allow our tamariki to make sense of their world by unfolding naturally and following their interests to then deepen their knowledge and understanding. Our favourable ratios above legal requirements enable meaningful interactions within our three different learning environments. We are proud to provide weekly non-contact time, collaborative team planning contributing to our child-inspired learning programme, professional development opportunities and direct monthly support with an external mentor. You will join a supportive team who radiate energy, positivity and love teaching children aged 18 months to 3 years old.

Although the role will initially be a teacher role there are opportunities for growth and leadership.

A good command of English is a must, along with positivity and flexibilty. Excellent communication skills and positive contributions to teamwork are attributes we value. Experience with emergent programme planning and documentation will be advantageous.
