We have an opportunity for a new teacher to join our team for 3 full days a week. We are a progressive early education centre that is a parent cooperative and is community-based. We are a small, family-styled centre with a stable team of teachers, a full roll and a great ERO report. Our curriculum and philosophy is strongly embedded but also ever growing and responsive to the needs of our community as well as collaboratively designed and developed by the teaching team and our whānau.

We are currently in the process of implementing a distributed leadership model which means there is the opportunity, outside of the usual hierarchical model, for the successful applicant to grow and develop their leadership. We are a centre that follows the collective agreement as well as advocates for the sector and better payment and conditions for early childhood teachers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic committed professional with amazing relationship skills and beautiful teaching practice. We implement aspects of Reggio Emilia, RIE philosophy, Montessori, and our commitment to Te Tiriti and Pasifika curriculum, Te Whāriki and a socio cultural approach is primary.
