The successful applicant will be passionate, knowledgeable of tikanga Māori, and contribute to the uplifting of Māori language and culture throughout the school. It would be beneficial if the successful candidate has experience in teaching the delivery of haka. A high level of ICT skills is required of applicants as all our students use either Chromebooks or laptops as an integral part of their learning. As with all teaching positions at our school, the successful candidate will be required to contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme through involvement in our kapa haka group. A competitive remuneration package is on offer, class sizes are relatively small, and our students are motivated and self-disciplined. Staff enjoy the added benefits of working in park-like grounds and are provided with cooked lunches during term.
