We are looking for a creative, innovative kaiako matua (senior teacher) who’s a subject expert in mathematics and statistics to join our teaching team in the Southern Region. The role is preferably based in our Dunedin Office, although locating the role in our Nelson Office would be considered.

It’s an exciting time at Te Kura as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning. As a predominantly online environment, we work with the latest technologies and are constantly growing in this space.

Interested in authentic learning, you model current pedagogy and are always coming up with new ideas.

It is essential that you have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements and are willing to learn, innovate, work collaboratively and build effective relationships. There will be opportunities to engage with students through our regional advisories and event days.

A full induction and support programme is available along with opportunities to engage with curriculum leaders and subject senior teachers located across regions.
