This position begins term 3, 2020.

The successful applicant will have a proven ability to work in a strong Māori community, competence in te reo Māori, strong leadership and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve the school’s vision and goals. 

They will teach in a Y1–2 lkevel 1 immersion class. 

Key areas of responsibility are:

  • Leadership of the level 1 Māori immersion, 4 class learning pathway (Y1–8)
  • Schoolwide PB4L and restorative practice
  • Schoolwide curriculum development, both NZC and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa
  • Schoolwide PLD.
