This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8am–4.30pm in an established and well-resourced kindergarten, with a roll of 40 children and a teacher to child ratio of 1:10.
The kindergarten has a well-established kaupapa of environmental sustainability and operates a nature discovery programme one day each week where, rain, hail or shine, children and teachers spend time exploring a natural environment outside of the kindergarten.
We are seeking a teacher who is versatile and a great communicator, who can deliver quality teaching practices in a team in a mixed-age setting, and is willing and proactive around change. Applications from beginning teachers are welcomed.
The successful applicant must have sound knowledge of current approaches to teaching and learning, be committed to ongoing professional development, and demonstrate the ability to work well in a team.

Hours required: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Applicants require a Level 7 Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching ECE, current first aid certificate and current teacher registration practising certificate.
