Healthy active learning advisors (HAL) (2 positions)
Want to make a positive difference to the tamariki in primary and intermediate schools in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland?
As part of new initiative known as healthy active learning, we are looking to recruit 2 healthy active learning advisors who will work directly with selected primary and intermediate schools from across Auckland. These roles are critical to healthy active learning, a new joint initiative between Sport New Zealand and the Ministries of Health and Education to improve child and youth wellbeing through healthy eating and quality physical activity.
Healthy active learning advisors will work with boards of trustees, principals, senior leaders and teachers of primary and intermediate schools to provide advice and customised support. This will enable schools to strategise, plan and develop systems that contribute to the development of an active and healthy school culture.
These roles will involve working at various locations throughout Auckland and require the ability to be flexible with work hours.
If you’re an organised, quick learner with education sector experience, and keen to join a fun, hard-working team committed to making a positive difference, then we’d like to hear from you.
Please refer to the job description for detailed skills and attributes needed.
Note that we are recruiting healthy active learning advisors across the following organisations:
