Applicants with experience in special needs education, learning support or teachers who have a passion for working in our shared teaching and learning space are encouraged to apply.   • Understanding and knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication systems

  • Attending to detail and effective planning to meet identified learning needs
  • Creative arts, music and dance
  • Participation and leadership of community integration and outings
  • Supporting and delivering transition programmes
  • Knowledge and understanding of restorative practices and the ability to implement these
  • Problem solving with growth mindset
  • Being flexible
  • Leading and directing support staff
  • Communicating successfully with whānau and supporting agencies.
