Licensed for 90 children aged from birth to 6 years, we're in the heart of the wonderful Waitangirua community where the rich diversity provides a wealth of exciting learning opportunities. We enjoy modern purpose-built facilities, quality resources and a huge outdoor area for our tamariki. Together, our team dedicate themselves to growing neighbourhood heroes.

We’re looking for an experienced leader with the confidence and ability to inspire their team. With the support of a full-time centre administrator and 2 head teachers, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of early learning and care are maintained. You will need to be innovative, personable, passionate and ready to get stuck in from the word go!

Our new centre manager will bring:

  • BEd/Dip Tch (ECE) Level 7 and current teacher certification
  • Proven success leading and managing a large team
  • Skills in connecting with whānau, community and services to support ākonga outcomes/achievement
  • Passion for the local community and for building relationships with parents/whānau
  • Demonstrated strengths in curriculum and planning
  • A strong administration/financial background would be desirable
  • The ability to set reasonable targets and celebrate team achievements
  • Proven skills in coaching and mentoring kaiako
  • Skills working with ākonga with diverse needs.
