We have a position available for a qualified registered early childhood teacher in one of our centres that caters for children over 2 years of age. The centre has a maximum of approximately 40 children attending. It is one of our 5 centres located on the University of Otago campus. Children that attend are predominantly children of staff and students.

We’re looking for a team member who is an enthusiastic participant in teaching and learning, has evidence of being an active reflective practitioner, is able to establish respectful and supportive relationships with diverse whānau, children and teachers and has strengths in te reo and tikanga Māori. We can offer mentoring for registration, extensive collegial and professional support and a fantastic work environment. Teaching in a large association also allows for long-term professional growth as there is opportunity to teach in a variety of centres, all of which offer different education settings and environments.
