We are very excited to be offering a great opportunity to teach wonderful children with very low class numbers in a beautiful rural setting and the possibility of this position being full-time.
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative teacher with an interest in multilevel practice, a skilled communicator, comfortable in a rural farming community, someone passionate about teaching and wanting to make a difference for every child.
Y1–4 experience would be great, with strengths in the arts, especially music, te reo Māori, digital technology and science. If you are looking to grow your teaching practice and can work flexibly to enhance our whānau-centred learning culture then welcome aboard.
We offer accommodation, a beautiful and supportive community surrounded by spectacular maunga and ngahere with great opportunities including tramping, hunting and fishing, as well as nearby natural hot springs. There are opportunities for additional hours as well as work for partners.
Please contact me for the application package, further information and the opportunity to look around our school.
