Wonderful opportunity to work at our school – fixed-term (terms 1–2, 2020) Y3–4. Strengths in English, health and physical education, learning languages, mathematics and statistics, science, social sciences, technology, te reo Māori and the arts.
We are ideally looking for teachers who know and love our NZ Curriculum and really enjoy working with tamariki and whānau. They understand that all children are unique and need differing levels of support to reach their potential.
If you want to take on a new challenge or be part of a school that reflects their community's values, language, culture and identity then this role is for you.
You will be well-organised but flexible. You will be a capable communicator who can form relationships with tamariki, their whānau and your colleagues. You will enjoy a challenge, a laugh and take pleasure out of a child's smile and success. You will know how to spark passion, creativity and enthusiasm for learning. You will see learning holistically with literacy and numeracy as important competencies.
You will have passions and strengths you will want to share with your colleagues and learners while being a self-directed, reflective teacher.
If this sounds like a role for you, please give us a call or come in to meet us. This is a great team to be a part of and teaching roles here do not come up often.
