ECE kaiako / teacher (2 positions)
New year – new centre?
Come and join our independent centre in Mangere Bridge, where diversity and celebrating the cultures of the area is important to our kaiako, tamariki and whānau.
2020 holds some excitement for us as we redevelop our indoor and outdoor spaces to better meet the needs of our tamariki and we are looking for qualified ECE teachers to share their knowledge and ideas on what makes a centre great!
Already a strong centre – we want to be even better! And that means putting tamariki first, being a great team and having fun with each other.
If you are a kaiako who loves a bicultural and multicultural approach in a multi-ethnic environment, this is a perfect setting for you.
You do not need to be competent in te reo, but you do need to have a desire to learn, be involved and promote it.
You do not need to be experienced in multi-ethnic settings, but you do need to be excited by them, want to learn, be involved, lead and promote it.
We are a large-ish setting. Up to 80 children, with a warm, welcoming and supportive team.
The teachers are wonderful, we certainly value them and want to grow our team of kaiako who care about themselves, the whānau and our tamariki.
We are looking for a kaiako who really believes in what they do and who wants their centre to be unique and reflect the community it serves.
Our centre is full of energy and excitement about our future and we are looking for both an O2 and U2 kaiako to join us on this journey.
