He kura whakaako mā te reo me ōnā tikanga ki te rohe o Kaikoura, ki te ākau o Hapuku. Me mōhio te kaitono ki Te Marautanga o Aotearoa engari me tūwhera hoki te hinengaro ki ngā akoranga Māori whānui. He kaha tō te kaitono ki te mahi ngātahi, he manawanui tōna, kia ū ki te reo Māori i ngā wā katoa, kia kounga te reo, he ngākau mahaki, he pakari hoki. Ka kaha tautoko mai te hapori whanui, ka mahi tahi mātou katoa.

As the successful applicant you will be a reflective classroom practitioner who consistently provides well-crafted differentiated learning programmes. You can nurture cultural identities and are confident in implementing a Te Marautanga o Aotearoa-based curriculum.

You are adaptable and flexible and will be able to share your wide teaching and learning knowledge to enrich our school. You are able to communicate effectively and strengthen the home/school partnership.
