Our community-owned centre is looking for a qualified, certificated teacher to join our small, friendly team. Teachers work closely with families/whānau and are supported by a committed parent committee.

We are looking for a lifelong learner with a positive outlook, who is prepared to take initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to make a fresh start and bring your own ideas to life. Must be a team player.

Our small group size offers young children a great opportunity to begin to explore and interact with the wider world.

We are licensed for 20 children aged 1–5 years.

We provide a respectful and nurturing learning environment that reflects our multicultural community. Children are supported to be confident in their own culture.

Hours of work: 62 hours per fortnight (8.15am–2.45pm daily). Plus fortnightly staff meetings. We are party to the ECECA.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
