We offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, collaborative and well-organised teacher who will lead a syndicate team, teach a Y7–8 class, and be actively involved in wider school leadership.
We have a strong focus on improving student achievement through the development of integrated learning programmes, collaborative practice, and the development of student voice and agency. Syndicate leaders are at the forefront of growing and developing these practices in their teams.
Our middle leaders have the benefit of professional development to grow their leadership capabilities. Middle leaders also have a strong voice in the development of pedagogy and practice in the school.
The successful applicant will build positive relationships with students across their syndicate, the members of their team, and our wider staff and community.
A strong PB4L philosophy is developing and the successful applicant's attitudes and beliefs will be aligned with these practices. They will have a commitment to the needs and wellbeing of early adolescents. Knowledge in and a willingness to support te ao Māori programmes would be an advantage.
We look forward to receiving your application.
