Lead teacher in a rural school responsible for planning and teaching:

  • Y3–5 literacy and maths programmes and assessment (5 mornings a week)
  • Y5–8 integrated studies programmes to include the learning areas of the arts, science, social science, technology, te reo, information technology, health, PE and sport and EOTC (5 afternoons a week)
  • Schoolwide programmes in: digital technology, education for sustainability
  • Organise teacher aide support programmes (5 mornings a week)
  • Work alongside RTLB
  • Contribute to the organisation of school and wider community activities: fundraising, sports days, social events, ski and outdoor education trips and camps, pet day, school production and cultural events.
