We are a special character, coeducational college with 460 students, situated in central Christchurch. We follow the charisms of both Marcellin Champagnat and the Mission Sisters and are a culturally diverse college.
We recognise the unique position of Māori as Tangata Whenua and ensure our policy statements and actions promote the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi. Through the leadership of the college all staff endeavour to be culturally responsive with the aim that, through a range of strategies, all Māori learners will enjoy educational success as Māori.
We are seeking a te reo Māori and social studies teacher for terms 1–3 to cover staff members taking leave. The ability to teach senior reo Māori would be an advantage.
This position would be full-time for terms 1–3 and part-time (0.6 FTE) for term 2.
