Our school is seeking an aspiring deputy principal. We are an urban primary school with teachers working in a collaborative learning environment, located in Central Auckland. We are a PB4L school.
The successful applicant will need an indepth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum. A meaningful use of digital technology would be beneficial. The deputy principal will oversee the curriculum and assessment practices. The role will also include being the SENCO and leading behaviour management practices.

Is motivated, and capable of building teacher capability, accelerating student achievement and able to drive the strategic direction of the school
The ability to facilitate and lead whole school professional development. assemblies and events
Committed to continuing/developing the best learning environments, holding high expectations for consistency across the school
Has the confidence to be delegate authority in the absence of the principal.
