Our school is a coeducational school with a roll of approximately 1,600 students and established in 1883.

Cambridge is in the heart of the Waikato region and has recently become a focus for elite sport with cycling, triathlon, kayaking and rowing having established their New Zealand bases here.

The school serves the interests of the community incredibly well, meeting the academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of a range of students. Places here are highly sought-after with families choosing to move into town to gain access to the school.

From the start of the 2020 school year, we are seeking a teacher with the skill set to teach in our senior homeroom.

The successful applicant will be an integral member of the student support services team. This will mean they will have the opportunity to take on extra responsibility, depending on their skill set. This may include but is not limited to coordination of Te Kura programmes, oversight of the health support programmes in association with our counsellors, possibly supervision of literacy programmes and supervision of teacher aides. Release time would be allocated if these became part of the position.
