Learning support coordinators - Eastern Southland Kāhui Ako
We are seeking 4 LSCs, 2 will be based at high schools and 2 in primary schools.
A not to be missed opportunity to work with 13 schools, 6 ECEs and a wide range of local support agencies to meet the diverse needs of the ākonga in our community.
A unique difference for the learning support coordinators in our Kāhui Ako is that they will work in partnership with our local Rūnanga and the Hokonui Huanui Project.
The successful applicants must possess a sense of equity, compassion, community and the ability to recognise the dignity of each individual.
- Fantastic communicator and problem solver who works collaboratively, and establishes positive relationships
- An understanding of high and complex needs and neurodiversity
- An ability and confidence to work across age ranges
- An understanding and capability to demonstrate knowledge of te ao Māori.
