Our school, Te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa, is a coeducational school catering for over 570 Y1–13 students. We serve a community that extends from the northern shores of Aotea Harbour in the south, to Waingaro in the north, and from our glorious west coast across to the Karangamahanga Range in the east. We celebrate education in a bicultural environment, sustained by our strong values: Poutama, Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga and Kaitiakitanga.

We seek a NZ registered teacher to teach in Y7–10. The successful applicant ideally will be an experienced teacher with effective classroom practice with emerging adolescents. You will have a sound understanding of the principles that underpin effective  education provision for this awesome age group, and be able to evidence this in their practice. Applicants must be caring, enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of our tamariki and their whānau.

Year level – Y7–8 or Y9–10 (to be negotiated with the successful applicant).
