Our school, Te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa is a coeducational school catering for over 570 Y1–13 students. We serve a community that extends from the northern shores of Aotea Harbour in the south, to Waingaro in the north, and from our glorious West Coast across to the Karangamahanga Range in the east. We celebrate education in a bicultural environment, sustained by our strong values: Poutama, Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga and Kaitiakitanga.

We seek a NZ registered visual arts teacher. The successful applicant ideally will be an experienced teacher with effective learner-centred and collaborative practice.

Experience with NCEA Levels 1–3 will be advantageous. Please note other NCEA Levels 1–3 curriculum strengths.

Applicants must be caring, enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of our tamariki and their whānau.
