The Otago University Childcare Association is an association of 5 purpose-built centres on the University campus. A position exists for a teacher / kaiako in Te Puna. Te Puna is one of our 02 centres with a maximum of 40 children.

We’re looking for a team member who is an enthusiastic participant in teaching and learning, has evidence of being an active reflective practitioner, is able to establish respectful and supportive relationships with diverse whānau, children and teachers and has strengths in te reo and tikanga Māori.

We can offer mentoring for registration, extensive collegial and professional support and a fantastic work environment. Teaching in a large association also allows for long-term professional growth as long-term there is opportunity to teach in a variety of centres, all of which offer different education settings and environments.
