We are a large and growing organisation delivering special education services to schools across multiple regions for students aged 5 to 21 years old.
The regional manager will be responsible for the day to day management of their region. In this role they will work closely with the principal, executive officer and other regional managers to achieve the goals of Arahunga.
Presently the organisation supports more than 55 schools across the central North Island. Our staff include specialist teachers in outreach services and satellite classes, therapists, support staff and a transition to work programme.
We are seeking a leader to continue our organisation's growth and success and embed the schools' culture and strategic direction within one of the regions. Regions will be allocated across the executive team as appropriate.
The successful applicant will:

Communicate with clarity and honesty
Be an effective problem solver and a decision maker
Delegate effectively and grow a team
Promote Arahunga in a positive, community-focused manner
Manage contracts and finances related to the region
Report to the principal and Board of Trustees accordingly.
Further fixed-term units will be allocated by FTTE growth within your region. A school car, phone and laptop computer will be provided.
Applicants must be a New Zealand registered teacher with a current practising certificate.
