We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time kaiako kapa haka to work with our head of te reo to deliver our new Māori performing arts course for 2020 from term 1, 2020. The course is aimed at senior students with a passion for Te Ao Māori, Tikanga Māori and kapa haka performing arts.

The course will offer a multilevel senior programme that will include opportunities both for credits at Levels 1–3 but also offer performance opportunities both within the school and across the wider school community. The kaiako would teach 8 hours over a 10 day school cycle with additional hours as required for wananga and noho. The successful applicant would need to be experienced in the realm of Ngā Mahi-ā-rehia me ōna āhuatanga katoa, be familiar with NCEA assessment and standards and hold NZ teacher registration (including LAT registration).
