We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team. An understanding of the NZC is essential – we are looking for a quality classroom teacher who provides agency for students. We are seeking a teacher with proven ability to form quality relationships for learning. A sense of fun is essential! The successful applicant will need to be prepared to work in collaborative learning environments. Our team work in a supportive manner and we have a strong focus on staff wellbeing at our school.
Strengths in the following areas are desirable (but not essential): curriculum/team leadership, te reo and Tikanga Māori; health/PE; digital technologies; play/project-based learning; provision of Gifted and Talented programmes.
We have flexibility in the year level to be taught across Y1–6. Please state your preferred year level in your application, along with any curriculum strengths. Depending on the strengths of the successful candidate, there may be an opportunity to negotiate a fixed-term management unit for curriculum leadership.
