Our school Board of Trustees is delighted to be able to offer a new learning support coordinator (LSC) role for the start of 2020.
We are looking for an experienced teacher who is able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to promote and manage learning support.
The successful candidate will need to be someone:
That demonstrates a willingness to make a difference for students and their whānau
Demonstrated successful experience in working with children and young people with learning support needs in the classroom
A sound knowledge, commitment to, and understanding of the learning support system and the learning support action plan priorities
Ability to work alongside SENCO, RTLB and other support agencies to support learners
Able to engage at a school or kura and cluster leadership level
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to co-construct plans/supports to benefit learners.
This is a shared role where the person will need to work collaboratively between Bathgate Park School, Carisbrook School and Sara Cohen School.
