We are seeking an effective and energetic assistant principal for our leadership and teaching teams for our dynamic school Y0–8.
This person needs to be a team player who can inspire learning, bring the best out of others around them and coach teachers in becoming more effective.
In addition, a sense of humour and wanting to provide hauora for staff and children is an essential part of our staff and school FISH philosophy approach.
Our leadership team likes to push the boundaries by looking at new ideas, we lead by example, provide a high standard of pastoral care and behaviour management (Our S.H.A.R.P schoolwide PB4L values) and we are not afraid to get involved.
If you have the experience, knowledge, skills and attitude to burn... then we would like to hear from you! We are particularly interested in applicants with strengths in leading professional learning (e.g. teacher as inquiry, coaching/mentoring) and collaborative teaching and learning.
The position comes with 3PMU and 0.4 management release, with the remainder 0.6 being in a class (age group flexible). Specifics of the job description will be customised to utilise the strengths of successful applicants.
