This role is responsible for overseeing the work tutors, deans and other relevant staff in the provision of suitable care for all students, intervening where and when appropriate to assist students in making good decisions regarding their ongoing wellbeing.

This includes: implementation of the pastoral care system, auditing of systems, carrying out and reviewing the code of practice.

To be successful you will have:

Qualifications

  • University or other qualification related to health and wellbeing
  • Teacher training qualification and registration preferable, but not essential.

Skills/experience

  • Experience working in health systems, including mental health
  • Experience working with international students preferable
  • Knowledge and experience working with people in maintaining or returning to positive wellbeing
  • Ability to work with and manage a team of dedicated professionals.
