Listed 4:48 PM 23 October 2019
Closes 08 November 2019
Vacancy reference #: 1HA14A

We are the national network of expertise for social studies teachers in secondary and primary schools in New Zealand. Our role is to aid in the delivery of teacher learning and development, the creation and provision of curriculum resourcing, and to provide teacher support.

The network is led by educators, but the amount of time they can spend on developing and coordinating the network is constrained by the requirements of their teaching roles.

To help ASSEN, we're looking for a national network facilitator (NNF). You will be responsible for helping us undertake the work of ASSEN. You will be pivotal to the growth, development, and delivery of ASSEN’s work.

If you have a passion for quality teaching and learning, experience in having worked for or with membership-led or network-based organisations, and experience with social studies education in the compulsory education sector in New Zealand then we want you!

This is a paid position, and is a fixed-term contract for 2020. You would be employed as an independent contractor.
