We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic beginning teacher to join our junior Kowhai team under the APPA/PCT project. Under this scheme, the beginning teacher will work alongside an experienced teacher for up to 2 terms before taking over the class. This is a Y0–1 position in an ILE space.  

Applicants must be a NZ citizen or permanent resident; provisionally certificated; and have not taught previously. Anyone appointed under this scheme will need to meet the Auckland Beginning Teacher Project requirements. 

The position is fixed-term for the 2020 and 2021 school years, with the possibility of becoming permanent after this.
