Head of pedagogy for the humanities.

Are you an adventurer who would like an exciting opportunity to develop a new position as head of pedagogy in the humanities? This position would suit someone who can develop flexible, innovative, student-centred programmes utilising our dynamic outdoor environment in a culturally enriched setting. Strengths and a passion in the subject of geography would be an advantage, although other subject strengths would be considered.

Our college is a small boutique school next to 2 large national parks in the North Island including ski fields and an active volcano. The successful applicant will develop pedagogy across the humanities subjects and will need skills in working with other teachers. A personal interest in the outdoors would be beneficial.

Applications are welcome for this position commencing 2020. Please feel free to contact the principal directly for more information.

School accommodation is available.
