Our centre is open and we are looking for registered teachers to join our small and growing team.

Our beautiful outdoor area on the banks of the River Avon is the ECE outdoor area to be in over summer – and actually, all year round.

Right in the heart of Christchurch, our local excursion destinations are Margaret Mahy playground, The Botanic Gardens, Turanga, Riverside Markets and we are looking forward to the buskers festival in summer too!

And here, in our home away from home at Millie’s, we are lucky enough to work in the beautifully refurbished and purposefully designed old Magistrates Court. Wonderful resources, small homely spaces and high-quality ratios are what is important to Millie’s House and our team.

We have capacity for both an experienced ECE teacher and a new graduate. Even an enthusiastic third year ECE student teacher would be considered.

As we grow, we are looking for flexible teachers who can work with a range of ages, and who are even perhaps the next ECE stars hoping that leadership roles are on their own horizon.
