This learning support coordinator role is one of 13 positions for the Turanganui-a-Kiwa Kāhui Ako of Tairawhiti, Gisborne. The purpose of the LSC is to ensure that our ākonga with additional learning needs have access to the services they need. Our LSC role will focus on supporting the ākonga, whānau and staff through the development and implementation of the learning support delivery model.

We need a person who:

  • Has the ability and experience to work collaboratively with students, teachers, whānau and external agencies and form culturally responsive relationships
  • Is passionate about making a difference for those students with additional learning needs.
